كما أن حسن الخلق من أكثر الأعمال التي يتقرب بها الانسان إلى الله ، وهي كفيلة بأن تزيد حسنات الانسان في ميزانه، وإن صاحب الخلق الحسن يكون من خير ما على الأرض ، حيث أن الرسول كان دوماً يشدد في التحذير من إيذاء الآخرين سواء باللسان أو باليد ، أو حتى من خلال النظرات . فلو تخيلنا مجتمع لا يحترم فيه أحد الآخر ،كما ترك الكل أخلاقه ، سنجد أن هذا ينتهك حرمة بيت هذا ويهتك عرضه ، كما أن سوف يقوم بالتعدي على حقوق هذا دون أن يشعر بأدني ذنب ، الأمر الذي يعني فساد المجتمع وتهتك العلاقات لأبعد حد ، وعلى قول الشاعر : إنما الأمم الأخلاق ما بقيت ** فإن ذهبت اخلاقهم ذهبوا
